Arnab Kumar Mondal plays with Athletico de Kolkata

Arnab Kumar Mondal is a footballer who got into the game pretty early when compared to a lot of other football players in India. The 24-year old has been playing since he was a mere 8-year old and joined the Mohammedan youth club when he was 17, after which he never looked back. 

He plays as a center back for East Bengal FC currently, an I-League team before which he spent two years with Prayag United. He has also had the chance to represent India when he played against the U-23 Qatar team for the 2012 Olympics qualifiers.
He has scored only one goal out of the 80 appearances he has put since his adult career began in 2010 but has helped his team keep clean sheets, doing his job well as a defender. The man will be part of Athletico de Kolkata's team for the ISL in September.
