Ibra fires back at Wenger

Looks like Arsene Wenger is having one terrible week. After losing to Chelsea at the Bridge and being involved in a tussle with Jose Mourinho, he must've thought about relaxing in this international break. But how can he forget King Zlatan?

But Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s stark revelations must have made him more irritated figure than on Sunday. The 33 year old said that he was never close to joining Arsenal and there were no misunderstandings. He simply didn’t like to go for a trial then at Highbury.

‘Today, Wenger says it was a misunderstanding. But I didn’t like being asked to prove myself,’ he said in an interview with the Guardian.

‘I know I’m good enough. I don’t need to show it to you. Either you know who I am or you don’t.

‘I remember being in Wenger’s office and you could tell he was the boss.

‘But I don't think I was so close [to joining Arsenal]. I went to Ajax the next day.’

Zlatan is certainly not the one who minces his words, does he?
