Dhananjay Yadav from Bangalore, India was the winner of an Atletico Madrid contest searching for their best fan in the country. As a result, the Spanish club flew him to The Vicente Calderon to watch Ateltico take on Real Madrid in a fierce derby.
So was his luck, he not only met the players, the president and other staffs, he saw Atletico drub Real Madrid by four goals. With a superb performance by the team and Dhananjay and his brother were both buzzing.
Atleti who have teamed up with ISL champions Kolkata have made good progress in terms of delivering support in all sectors, including the grass root development process.
Dhanajay did a complete tour of and got to meet various players and staff. He was granted his life long dream of meeting his idol Fernando Torres as he quotes in the video.
Atletico again proved why they are called as the people's club!
