Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea kick off their 2014-15 Barclay’s Premier League campaign with a away trip to Turf Moor, as they prepare to take on the newly promoted side Burnley. The Clarets welcome top flight football after a four year absence – and facing the West London club on the first day of new season would be a big task in its own for Sean Dyche, dubbed as the “English Mourinho” by the media.

Burnley Squad News:

Burnley: New signings Lukas Jutkiewicz, Michael Kightly, Steven Reid, Marvin Sordell and Matt Taylor would all be looking to make their premier league debuts for Burnley today. With an injured Sam Vokes, we could be a looking at a pairing of Ings and Jutkiewicz starting upfront for the Clarets. A midfield four of Taylor, Marney, Jones and Wallace are expected to play in a Dyche’s favoured 4-4-2 setup with the former Manchester United youth trainee Thomas Heaton guarding the goal.

Missing player: Sam Vokes (Injured)

Probable Line-up:

Heaton, Tripper, Mee, Shackell, Duff; Taylor, Marney, Jones, Wallace; Ings Jutkiewicz.

Man to watch out for:

With six goals in the preseason for Burnley, Lukas Jutkiewicz is the man to watch out for.

Chelsea Squad News:

Chelsea: The signings of Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and Flipe Luis was major boost for the West London club, who completed all their transfer activity well before the deadline day of 31st August. The re-signing of the club legend Didier Drogba who won them the esteemed Champions league trophy with the last kick of the ball was an added incentive. There is a real battle for places in the squad, none more eye catching than the prospect of seeing either one of Thibaut Courtios or Petr Cech starting on the bench for Chelsea. Mourinho is expected to play at least two of his new summer acquisitions in former Arsenal man Cesc Fabregas and Spanish striker Diego Costa. The club captain John Terry in his 20th season of English football, will lead the side today and his England counterpart Gary Cahill is expected to partner him in the centre of the defense. With the ability of Cesar Azpilicutea to play on the either of the side of the defense, it needs to be seen on which side Jose prefers to play him.

Missing Player: Ramires (Suspended)

Probable Line-up:

Courtios, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Oscar, Fabregas, Schurrle, Hazard; Costa.

Man to watch out for:

With vision and ability to find player with a simple pass - Cesc Fabregas is the man to watch out for.
