Triple Ballon d'Or winner gets a 2 game ban

Three time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo was handed a two game ban after his disgraceful act of kicking and punching opponents in the game against Cordoba on the 24th Jan.

Ronaldo who was handed out a direct red by Referee, had his footage reviewed by Spanish FA.

Former Manchester united player has been in smashing form this season too, scoring 28 goals in just 18 La Liga games, also providing nine assists for his teammates this term.

With just 2 game ban, Ronaldo will be able to face cross town rivals Atletico Madrid.

Though Ronaldo would be on the pitch soon, he'd be disappointed with his actions. Being a role model for billions of people, he took to twitter and apologized for his actions.
