Chelsea take on Tottenham Hotspurs in the finals of the Capital One Cup finals which poses to be more than just a finals. With both set of players pointing out that its all about winning the trophy and the feeling which comes with it.

Chelsea:

Chelsea football club who have won it all in the past decade since Roman Abramovich took over play thier 17th finals in the last 20 years, which is more than any other English side since the new Premier league was formed. Not only that Chelsea were the first ever London club to win the League cup in 1964-65. So there is considerable history when it comes to Chelsea and League cup.

The club has been on a rise with the team now entering a new era, having penned a £200m shirt sponsorship with Japanese rubber company Yokohama. The deal is just second to Manchester United's deal with US car maker Chevrolet. With all this success on the field and off it, Chelsea are a club who many would want to replicate.

Team News:

Chelsea come in to the game with out their talisman Nemanja Matic in midfield. The midfielder who suffered a fatal tackle was suspended by the FA for 2 games after his reaction to the career ending challenge which the ref deemed as a fair one. Other than that, John Obi Mikel misses the game due to an knee injury. With Costa, Fabregas, Hazard all fit and raring to go it is going to be full seam ahead for Jose Mourinho and his side.

Probable Line Up:

Courtios, Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Fabregas, Willian, Oscar, Hazard and Costa.

Tottenham Hotspurs:

Tottenham’s last trophy came in the 2008 League Cup Final against Chelsea, and Kaboul is the only one left in the team from that triumph while Drogba, Terry and Cech remain in the blue’s line-up.

Tottenham have scored more goals in the last ten minutes in the league this season, while Chelsea have conceded more goals than any other side in the last ten minutes.

Team News:

Tottenham Hotspurs who played Fiorentina just in the Europa league just two days ahead of the finals, would be high on hopes after Nemanja Matic's appeal led to only just one match decrease in the ban. But having less of rest from their European endeavors the side could face a potential tiredness.

Young striker Harry Kane would be eager to prove himself at the highest possible stage with Wembley being the highest of all in his short yet successful career to date.

Probable Line-Up:

Lloris; Rose, Vertonghen, Dier, Walker; Mason, Bentaleb; Chadli, Eriksen, Townsend; Kane

Final Prediction:

Chelsea 2-1 Spurs
