The Reds have made a huge sum out of selling Suarez and are now buying players to support their team better. They need reinforcements in defense as they possess the weakest defense of all the top premier league clubs having conceded 50 goals which played down their League chances. They also need players in midfield as they are without Luis Suarez to improve their attacking prowess.
Players who can complete:
Defense: Dejan Lovren, had a decent campaign with his national team Croatia even though much was expected of them;
Ben Davies, a 21-year-old youngster having done really well for Swansea; Serge Aurier, the Ivorian had a great season with his national team. He was among the best defenders in the World Cup.
Midfield:
Ross Barkley, England national featured in all three games as a substitute. Is young with lots of pace and dangerous attacking skills, can be helpful in Liverpool midfield; chance to play in CL can tempt him to move.
Forward:
Wilfried Bony, also from Ivory Coast, scored 2 goals in three games. He can strengthen the Reds’ strike force. Chance to play in Champions League will make decision easier.
