It appears that the striker is now closer than ever of making his return much to the delight of the fans.  According to reports, talks have begun between his current club Galatasaray and Chelsea to bring the 36-year-old back.

The move looks likely as their striker Samuel Eto’o has left the club, Demba Ba has signed a loan deal with Turkish club Besiktas and Romelu Lukaku set to spend another season away from the club.

Mourinho is looking to lure the Ivory Coast international with a Player-Coach role that will give the former Blue with managerial experience.

If selected the star can be a valuable addition as he still has goals in him. His insights and vast experience in the striking department will also prove beneficial for the London club as he’s among its top scorers with 157 goals.
