If reports from Express.co.uk are to be believed, Chelsea are looking to sign France and Real Sociedad midfielder Antoine Griezmann for a fee of £25 million.
The 23-year-old has just two years in his contract and despite his impressive performance Real Sociedad finished an unconvincing 7th in La Liga last season meaning they won’t be featuring in the Champions League.
The youngster can be lured sign for the London club with a promise of gaining more experience in the Champions League.
Earlier, Liverpool and Arsenal were also in the run to sign the player but with the Reds acquiring Lazar Markovic and the Gunners in pursuit of Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira Chelsea are front runners to land the winger.
He scored 16 goals and facilitated 3 more for the Spanish club and could gel really well with the young Blues squad.
