Chelsea to pay £200m for Lionel Messi!

If reports in England and Spain are anything to go by then absolute madness is about to take place. Chelsea is ready to pay Lionel Messi’s buyout clause of £200m in summer if the player chooses to leave Barca.

There are strong reports that Messi is at war with his boss Luis Enrique and the situation is more or less do or die for both of them. Messi is currently the favourite to win this battle but anything can happen in football. Messi didn’t show up for training yesterday which further fuels the talk.

Messi played coy on his future and thus fuelling the rumors.

He said: “I neither confirm nor deny those reports. The things that are part of the team always remain in the changing room.

“I have the same relationship with all my players that I had at the start of the season. That has not changed.”
