Chelsea consolidated their position at the top of the table as the Blues were helped by goals from John Terry and Diego Costa.
West Ham before coming into this game where fourth place, with only a point behind Manchester United, but since then they have slipped to 5th on the table.
Chelsea who were inspired by Costa who was in blazing form with Hazard and Fabregas help link play.
Chelsea opened their scoring at 30mins on the clock as neat buildup between Willian Hazard and Oscar saw the ball being forced out by Collins leading to a corner. With the ball whipped in, Costa rose the highest and nugged it and was met by Captain John Terry as he tapped it home.
1-0 to Chelsea, who had absolutely destroyed West Ham in the early minutes with Keeper Adrian called in to save a few.
At Half time Chelsea were 1-0 up but the difference was there to see for all. The potential champion looked well in control.
But West Ham had far few chances and had rested Song and Sakho looked to attack and earn a early equalizer in the second half with Valencia winning a corner in 1st min of second half.
