Brunt was earlier given a one year contract extension but with a coming his way he delightedly accepted the contract.
The Premier League club’s coach Alan Irvine spoke after the deal was finalized and said: “I'm delighted we have extended Chris' contract by a further two years.
“He's our captain, has great quality and experience and is clearly a very, very important player for us.
“Chris is an influential figure both on and off the pitch. He has the respect of all the players and staff and is a top class professional”, he said.
Brunt joined the Baggies in August 2007 and was made captain during the 2010-11 season which he continues till now. Also, he is just an appearance away from having his 250th cap with the Albions.
