Del Piero Arrives in India


Del Piero arrived in India today, and he was welcomed by a number of fans who were awaiting for the Italians arrival.



Del Piero, who'd play for the Delhi Dynamos in the inaugural season of ISL, is the record appearance maker and goalscorer for Juventus, with whom he has won 8 Seria A titles and a champions league.



First words from Del Piero:


"This is new for me, alright. But I am excited and I'll try to do my best for the league and for the Dynamos first of all and all the soccer, football fans in India," he said.



Del Piero said that he is looking forward to train with the players and coaching staff of his Delhi Dynamos team.


"I am happy to be here and would want to start soon training and meet my team mates and the coach and the staff and everyone in the club. I think it will be a great time with us," Del Piero added.
