Delhi Dynamos vs FC Goa Match Preview

Delhi Dynamos have been very inconsistent in this tournament, like all other teams with exception of Atletico de Kolkata. FC Goa on the other hand have been very consistent, albeit in wrong sense. Zico’s boys have been winless till now and have dropped more points from winning position than any other team in the league.

Goa will be looking to get some points on the board while Dynamos will be looking to get close to the semi final spot.

Key Battles

Andre Santos vs Hans Mulder

Brazillian full back has been Goa’s best player in this tournament. A constant threat in attack, he has been at the end of every decent move made by Goans. Hans Mulder will have his plate full when he will face his Goan contemporary. He has been immense for Delhi, as far his defensive duties are concerned.

Gabriel Fernandes vs Shouvik Ghosh

Local lad Fernandes is Goa’s other player who has been impressive for the home side. His pace and guile has been very hard to handle so far in the league. Indian full back Shouvik Ghosh will have to stay sound defensively or else Goa will have a field day at Nehru stadium tomorrow.

Key Men

Ranti Martins – One of the most prolific forwards in Indian football’s history has so far failed to set ISL ablaze for FC Goa. But he is just a goal away from getting back to his lethal best which made him the most feared striker in India in post Baichung era.

Mads Junker – Dynamos’ co-captain is key to their attack with playmaker Alessandro Del piero. The Belgian is a lethal poacher in the penalty box while he has a shot from distance in his armoury as well. In short, he is a defender’s nightmare.

TFM predicts a 2-1 victory for the hosts
