Zico’s boys turn on the style as they thrash Delhi Dynamos 1-4 in the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Delhi. Frenchman Youness Bengelloun scored a brace as Pires and co ran riot.




Goa started the match on a brighter note as Robert Pires was able to exert more influence from the center of the park. Soon their dominance paid off as Goa broke through the Delhi defense and a brilliant effort from Bengelloun kickstarted the proceedings for the coastal boys.



Soon, the Frenchman added another goal as a brilliant ball from Andre Santos set him nicely for a goal. Goa was in cruise control post this second goal which they scored in the beginning of second half. Robert Pires too chipped in a with a penalty as Goa were toying with the Dynamos defence by now.



The hosts got their consolation via a spot-kick which was scored by Gustavo Marmentini in the 73rd minute. But the Goans struck once again via Ozbey to complete the rout.



This loss pushes Delhi to the bottom spot while Goa moves to the to 7th place.
