Pune 0-1 Delhi Dynamos - Report.

FC Pune City XI: Arindam (GK), Pritam, Ravanan, Cirillo (C), Wadoo, Katsouranis, Lenny, Vadocz, Park, Pennant, Dudu

Delhi Dynamos XI: Van Hout (GK), Shouvik, Houben, Anwar, Adil, Shylo, Herrero, Mulder (C), Junker, Francis, Santos

Delhi break Pune's hearts as Gustavo's strike sends them one step closer to semifinals.

Harm van Veldheman's boys edged past Pune in a keenly fought encounter. Delhi always looked like the side who will score first but Pune too had their moments. Delhi had two clear cut chances in the first half but were denied by Arindam's brilliance.

In second half Pune showed more urgency but failed to break down Delhi's stubborn defense. Mads Junker and Gustavo were wreaking havoc with their creative play in Pune's half.

Finally the capital side got their well deserved breakthrough as Junker-Santos combo came to the fore. Both the forwards linked up as Junker set up the Brazilian who scored a peach of goal.

This win throws the race for semis wide open. Now the Oranje have to win against the league leaders Chennaiyin while Pune have to depend on Delhi's result in order to qualify for semis.
