Edison Cavani sent off following his Sniper Celebration

In a bizzare incident, PSG's Edison Cavani was sent off following his goal celebration. But Cavani wasn't alone on the day to be sent off as the game saw 3 red cards as the game finished 10 vs 9

Though the game ended in a 3-1 win for the Paris team, it left a bitter taste in the fans and managers' mouth alike after a wrong sending off of the striker. Cavani was first shown a yellow card for celebrating in front of the Lens fans before then receiving a second yellow for remonstrating with the referee.

PSG coach Blanc was quoted saying:

"There were some incidents which meant that, unfortunately, the
match lost a lot of interest in the second half,"

"At 10 against nine, the teams canceled each other out and it wasn't a great match."

PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi told Canal Plus television:

"He doesn't deserve this red card. For a start, why did he get this
yellow card before?"

"He always (celebrates) the same way."

Needs to be seen what the France FA make of it.
