Transfer Rumors - Edison Cavani to Arsenal?

There have been various reports over the past couple of years linking Edison Cavani to Arsenal. Latest report in British media is that the Uruguayan is evermore close to join the North London club.

According to English daily The Mirror, Arsene Wenger has sanctioned a very lucrative package to sign PSG man. The deal is worth to be around £55 million.

Arsenal now has to strike a deal with the Paris club in order to get their man. Arsenal still lack a world class striker even though they signed Danny Welbeck on Deadline day.

The transfer can very well happen as earlier there were reports of the 28 year old being unsettled in Paris under Laurent Blanc. If the deal goes through, Arsenal will have a world class attacker to lead their line since Robin van Persie.
