Pune FC destroy Assam State Electricity Board in Bhutan Kings Cup

PUNE FC HAMMER ASSAM STATE ELECTRICTY BOARD 5-0


Pune FC became the first team to seal its place in the Semi Finals of the Kings Cup as they thrashed Assam State Electricity Board by a margin of five goals. The win was powered by striker Thongkhosiem Haokip.



Haokip hat-trick wrote the script for the game. He was accompanied on the list with Izumi and Rocha. Pune FC as the score line reads where obviously the better side. Pune started the game in the front foot as they dominated the proceedings from the first minute.



They took the lead in the 14th minute of the game after a good one-two between the two front menas Arata slotted it home. Pune doubled the lead minutes later as this time Arata turned provider. It was two nil to Pune FC at 25mins. Pune led by three goals at half time as Haokip scored his second of the game.



Pune started as they left, they attacked the ASEB end with vigour. ASEB on the other hand very restricted chances. They tried very hard. But Pune where in no mood to concede. They scored their four and five as the game progressed and won the game convincingly.
