Former Chelsea Star Has Contract Terminated

Ashley Cole's contract with Italian side AS Roma has been terminated by Mutual Consent. The English international had made just 16 appearances with the Serie A side during his year and a half stay at Rome.

"AS Roma can today confirm that Ashley Cole's contract has been terminated by mutual consent. The club would like to thank Cole for his commitment during his stay in Rome and wish him the very best for his future career." A Statement from the Serie A side read.
