Rumors - Glen Johnson off to Italy?

If rumors are anything to go by, then Glen Johnson is set to follow his former England teammate Ashley Cole to Italy. AS Roma are supposedly leading the chase with Napoli and Juventus in pursuit.

There are considerable doubts over his Anfield future as there are options available to Brendan Rodgers in new boy Javi Manquilo and Jon Flanagan. With a little over 18 months remaining on his contract, it is being reported that the right back is seeking a move elsewhere as Liverpool are also trying to prevent him from leaving for free next summer.

Liverpool are ready to listen to offers for the defender for £2 million and above. Reports of an Italian move are gathering pace due to the fact that both Cole and Johnson share the same agent. Plus, his £110,000 a week wage is averting all the English clubs to make a move for the Englishman.
