Inter Milan who have improved their form considerably after the appointment of former coach Roberto Mancini have shown ambition to compete in the transfer market.
The recent signings of Lukas Podolski, Xhernden Shaqiri and the contract extension of Kovacic point towards the good work that Mancini has put in since joining Inter.
The Nerazzuri manager, has improved the side's mentality which is backed by new owner Thoir. With the side competing for a place in the Champions league, Mancini has spoken of possibly signing Manchester City's - Yaya Toure.
"Yaya is one of the strongest players in the world," Mancini, who managed Toure at City between 2010 and 2013, told Italian newspaper IlGiornale. "He still is.
"He has played in so many teams. He has been in leagues in Belgium, Russia, Spain and England. Italy is the one missing. This could be the right opportunity for him to come and try.
"We are building a team. There are players that change the look of a team, and Yaya is one of them.
"Next year we could try. We need to bring three champions, and we will see that we will be ready to fight for the Scudetto."
