Mesut Ozil off to Bayern? Ozil doesn’t think so

The English media as usual have gone overboard with their transfer rumors. The latest specimen of this is a news report linking Mesut Ozil to Bayern Munich.

The Daily Mail reports that Mesut Ozil must have played his last game for the Gunners as he is swooshing off to a move to Bavaria. The German giants are reportedly weighing a £30million bid for the German who just made his switch to Emirates a season ago.

The main reason for his move away is that he is not played in his preferred position of an attacking midfielder. Plus his recent knee injury has also played on his mind. But all the Gooners need to relax a bit as the player himself has quashed all the rumours of his exit from Arsenal.

"Thanks for your support following my injury. I’ll come back on the pitch as soon as I can to help #AFC. now and in the future. #MiaSanArsenal"
