Liverpool Intent on Signing Loic Remy

France international is among the top transfer target for the striker position for Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers having walked away from Wilfried Bony as he would cost a significantly higher than Remy.

The Queens Park Rangers’ player spent his last season on loan at Newcastle as his club was relegated and scored 14 goals.

According to mirror.co.uk, the reds are prepared to trigger the release clause on the player with £8 million bid but have been asking the player to tone down his wage demands.

The striker is said to be asking around £80- £90 thousand pounds which the runners-up of last reason are not willing to agree to.

He now has only their current pursuant interested in him as Tottenmham Hotspur and Arsenal have rested their case.

But if he agrees to the deal he might even get to star in the Champions League games.
