Liverpool vs Arsenal Match Preview


The struggling Merseysiders host Arsenal as the Premier League gets its one more marquee fixture for the second week on the trot. Liverpool are coming on the back of some horrendous results while Arsenal are slowly getting into their own with their injury list easing down a bit.



A lot is on the line for both the clubs as both of them are some places off the coveted Champions League places.


Team News


Alberto Moreno is available for selection if Rodgers chooses to revert back to a back four. Mario Balotelli will miss out due to his suspension for making racist comments, which means Rickie Lambert is set to start against the Gunners. Dejan Lovren is a doubt while Glen Johnson is ruled out till New Year.



For the visitors, Theo Walcott will be assessed before the game to check his availability while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also a doubt. Calum Chambers is available for tonight’s game.
