Liverpool welcome defending champions Manchester City at Anfield tomorrow. A lot has changed since this fixture was played last time. Both the teams locked in the title battle at this time last year and now the tables have turned in significantly especially for Liverpool.

City is still in the mix for the title as they trail five points behind leaders Chelsea. Liverpool on the other hand are far from title run in but are closing in on the Champions League football as they are just two points behind the fourth placed Manchester United.

Both the teams will be looking to push aside their European heartbreaks in the midweek as City will be looking to bounce back from a morale crushing defeat to Barcelona while Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from an excruciating defeat against Besiktas.

Team News

Jordan Henderson and Mahmadou Sakho are expected to return for the hosts in this blockbuster clash as they missed the trip to Turkey in midweek.

Meanwhile Yaya Toure is expected to be back in the starting line up after missing midweek game due to suspension. Wilfred Bony can start up alongside Sergio Aguero upfront as well.

Probable Lineups

Liverpool - Mignolet; Can, Skrtel, Lovren; Moreno, Allen, Henderson, Markovic; Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge

Man City - Hart; Kolarov, Mangala, Kompany, Zabaleta; Silva, Fernandinho, Toure, Nasri; Bony, Aguero

TFM predicts 3-1 win for Man City considering their recent form in the league and the Toure Factor.
