Match Preview - Borussia Dortmund vs Arsenal

Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund games are turning out to be a regular fixture in the UEFA Champions League in the recent past. This has developed into quite a new-found rivalry between the English and the German club. This UEFA clash takes place at the Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund tomorrow.

Both Arsenal and Dortmund have had an upper hand in their respective away games.

Team News

Borussia Dortmund -

Borussia Dortmund have a long injury list as they miss out on as many as 9 first team players including the likes of Marco Reus, Mats Hummels, Nuri Sahin, Ilkay Gündogan and Jakub Blaszczykowski.

This means that the 'Lost Son' Shinji Kagawa and new boy Adrian Ramos are in contention of a spot in the starting lineup.

Arsenal -

Arsenal has injury worries of their own as they're very thin in defense with Mathieu Debuchy out for a couple of months after suffering an ankle injury against Manchester City this weekend. Nacho Monreal has also been deemed unfit to participate in their Champions League season opener.

Kieran Gibbs is only first team fullback available for tomorrow's game in Germany. Callum Chambers is expected to wriggle off tonsillitis to play a part in tomorrow's game but seems doubtful. New boy Danny Welbeck is expected to lead the attack as both Sanogo and Giroud are ruled out.

Probable Lineups -

Borussia Dortmund -

Weidenfeller – Piszczek, Sokratis, Subotic, Durm – Jojic, Kehl – Mkhitaryan, Kagawa, Großkreutz -Ramos.

Arsenal -

Szczesny - Chambers, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Gibbs - Wilshere, Ramsey, Flamini - Özil, Sanchez - Welbeck.

What Our Pundits Predict: Borussia Dortmund 1-1 Arsenal
