Mancini wants Yaya Toure

The current Inter Milan manager and the for Manchester City boss, Roberto Mancini looks to have put Yaya Toure top of the transfer list come summer.

Inter who have been linked with the Ivorian for some time now, are thought to have a had a chat with Toure's agent over a possible move.

But Toure who has a massive contract which obviously can't be matched by Inter could possibly be the breaking point.

Inter who stand 10th on the table, are looking to make it in to the Champions league player with the manager quoted saying,

Speaking to Sky Sport24, Mancini joked: "Yaya Toure? Piero Ausilio [Inter's sporting director] - put your hand in your pocket!

"I had Yaya at Manchester City and I think he is one of the best players in the world.

"It's not easy, though, because he's at Manchester City, so it's up to him and whether he wants to come and play in Italy, after playing in the other major European leagues.

"He'd be a big signing not just for Inter but also for the Italian league's prestige as a whole.

"Inter have more appeal than many teams, though, so we’ll see what happens in the future, but he belongs to Manchester City at the moment."
