This is the biggest news of this transfer window. According to Spanish website El Confidencial, Marco Reus has agreed a five year deal with European champions Real Madrid which will come into effect in summer.

The reports are now picking up as other media outlets too are following the El Confidencial exclusive. This landed a major blow to Reus’ English suitors reportedly Manchester United and Chelsea. Both the English giants were looking to sign Borussia Dortmund superstar at the end of the season when his buyout clause will come into effect.

Dortmund’s CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke had this week admitted that Reus will be the one to leave Signal Iduna Park in summer.

He said: "My big hope is that he will stay here for a long time," Watzke said on Wednesday. "If he decides differently, that's the way it is. One of the challenges in football is to benefit from staff changes in any way and create new things."

Whether these reports are true or not, but surely there is going to be a scramble for the signature of this German superstar come summer.
