PSG finally got into their groove as they outclassed table toppers Marseille at the Parc des Princes as they closed gap on them.
Lucas Moura scored the opener for the Parisians as he used his tearaway pace to get behind Marseille backline and calmly slotted the ball home from 4 yards. Marseille sprang into life after that as they started to bombard PSG’s post. Gignac came very close to level for the visitors but Sirigu somehow kept the ball out from the back of the net.
In second half it was Zlatan show all the way as he started to bring more verve into PSG attack.
And they got their winner in 85th minute via Edinson Cavani who came back after his ‘Hunter’ celebration. Cavani’s goal also brought the differences between him and Ibra to the fore.
Both the front men lack cohesion and are anything from a strike partnership which can terrorize the defenses. Still it won’t matter unless Le Parisiens can get three points every week.
