Due to the climatic conditions in the Gulf country, it was widely suggested that the World cup could be moved from their traditional days of summer to winter.
But Harold Mayne Nicholls who is in the to be the head of football's world governing body, believes that the competition can be staged at its traditional time but the timing of the games need to be twicked a bit to the third of the last game to be played at 1 am.
The former Chilean football chief told BBC Sport:
"You could play the first games at 7pm, the second games at 10pm and the third matches at 1am.
"You could move it towards May, until the middle of June. The weather would still be very warm at night, but the sun is not there and that could help.
"I know it's not easy. We'd sleep during the day and work during the night. It's only an idea. You'd have to investigate a little bit more."
