Bayern Munich:
Bayern has had a low-key season far in the transfer market as they’ve signed only three players of which Robert Lewandowski is the only high level signing. This Pep Guardiola squad has the best of players of which majority of them are from the World Cup winning team. They are one of the complete sides in the tournament.
Goalkeeper:
The Munich cub has only two keepers in the form of No.1 Manuel Neuer and Tom Starke. They were looking to add another to keep Neuer in focus by signing Keylor Navas, but with the Costa Rican signing for Real Madrid, Guardiola may look for Colombian David Ospina.
Defense:
The champions are looking for back up in defense with names like Mats Hummels doing the rounds. But the deal is unlikely to go through. Mehdi Benatia of Roma could grace the position as he has been a key player in the last year’s Serie A runner-up team’s defense.
Borussia Dortmund:
Dortmund needed reinforcement in defense and with the signing of Freiburg’s Mathias Ginter they seem to have toned their back-line down. There’s also a more than likely chance that their star defender Mats Hummels might leave the club meaning they need a replacement so a player like De Vrij or Giancarlo Gonzales can fit the role depending on their World Cup performances.
