Torres Destro Swap deal

After day filled with internet speculations, Mattia Destro’s agent has come out putting an end to the reports which had suggested a possible swap involving the Italian and Chelsea’s Spanish forward. With a host of media outlets, reporting Destro-Torres swap deal, his agent had to come out and deny any deal.

Renzo Contratto claims the Blues are interested in bringing the Italy international to Stamford Bridge, it is highly unlikely that Destro will leave the Giallorossi this summer.

Renzo Contratto was quoted saying:

"It's true that Chelsea are interested in Mattia,"

"But the reports regarding a swap deal have no foundation, it's all speculation.

"Roma don't want to sell Mattia and Mattia prefers to remain at Roma."

Mattia was Roma’s top scorer with 13 league goals last season, and has still three years left on his contract. A move to Premier League would be an upgrade for Mattia, who’s still just 23.
