Spurs vs Manchester United – Part II

The Boxing Day is gone it’s just a day’s rest before both the clubs will engage into a high intensity battle at White Hart Lane. Both the clubs had a contrasting wins against Leicester City and Newcastle United respectively.

Spurs are in stitching a decent run after having endured a stop start season. Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane powered the North London club to a crucial win over the Foxes as they look to close in on the Champions League spots. It was a close win but at this time 3 points is what matters however they come.

The Reds continued their good run of form with a comfortable 3-1 win over Magpies. Wayne Rooney inspired the hosts with a brace and an assist to brush away Alan Pardew’s boys as United consolidated their position by capitalizing on West Ham’s defeat against Chelsea.

Lane has been a good ground for the visitors who enjoy a good record against the Spurs, who will look to buck the trend.

With Southampton and Arsenal securing comfortable wins, it is imperative for both the sides to get a positive result to get into the new year on the back of good results.
