Tottenham Hotspurs are the latest club in showing interest in the French striker Loic Remy. Loic Remy has been in the mix all summer long. The QPR owned striker was on loan at Newcastle last season were he impressed everyone, scoring 14 times in 24 appearances. After a great second season in the premier league, the Frenchman was set for an £8 million move to Liverpool, but a deal collapsed after he failed his medical. But now Spurs apparently are keen to meet the £8 million asking price.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that the 27-year-old is not keen on a Magpies return, and will only leave for one of the league's more competitive sides.
Redknapp: "He didn't want to go back to Newcastle which is a massive club, so unless it's a club in the top seven I don't think he'll go.
"If he goes you're looking for two strikers, which isn't easy to find."
