Van Persie To Fenerbahce?
Manchester United's Robin Van Persie has been news of the hour since yesterday with his agent being spotted in Turkey, speculated tying up a deal for his customer with Turkish Champions Fenerbahce.
The English news outlet, Guardian was the one to break the news; which was quoted:
"It is understood that Van Persie’s agent, Kees Vos, has been in Istanbul for the past two days, involved in negotiations with the Turkish club to secure a deal. The two clubs are currently negotiating a fee for the 31-year-old, who has agreed personal terms with the club and is ready to sign a four-year deal.
The Holland international’s wife initially had reservations about a move to Turkey, but warmed to the idea after spending last week in Istanbul. The Guardian understands that the former Fenerbahce winger Dirk Kuyt has been key in convincing Van Persie to make the move."
Turkish Champions who confirmed the signing of fellow Manchester United player Luis Nani yesterday, are reportedly close to a deal with star man Van Persie.
According to reports in Manchester the striker doesn't have a future at the club with manager Van Gaal looking at bringing a young and more dynamic striker for the upcoming season.
Van Persie who won played the world cup under the management of Van Gaal, is supposedly open for a move too. With his wife a bit hesitant at first. It needs to be seen if the situation develops any further this week with Fener looking to being in more marquee names.
