WIFA felicitates President Patel


Mumbai: The Western India Football Association (WIFA) honoured and felicitated their president Praful Patel on being inducted as the Vice-President, AFC (Asian Football Confederation), at the Cooperage football ground on Saturday.


The former Union Minister Patel, who is also the president of the All India Football Federation (AIFF), was recently elected to the AFC post.


WIFA Vice-President, Shri Malojiraje Chhatrapati presented Patel with a bouquet of flowers and the entire managing committee members, showered praise on their long-serving president. They also wished Patel all the success in his new assignment with the Asian football body.
