Italian Club AS Roma sack their french manager Rudi Garcia. The Italian side was expected to challenge for the top position but is currently sitting 5th, 7 points off the top of the table toppers Napoli.

"On behalf of myself and everyone at AS Roma, I’d like to thank Rudi Garcia for all of his hard work since joining the club. We’ve all enjoyed some great moments during his time at Roma but we believe that this is the right time for a change." A statement by Roma read.

Luciano Spallettiis expected to replace the Frenchman.
