In what is perceived to be a great gesture by the FC Barcelona board may well keep a club legend away from oblivion. Barca have decided to rename their training centre after their former coach and manager Tito Villanova.

The centre will be renamed as ‘Campo de Entrenamiento Tito Vilanova’ in honor of Tito, who lost his battle against cancer in 2013. Villanova was a fan favorite along with that he was loved and respected by his players and contemporaries.

He famously won them La Liga in post Pep Guardiola era by giving Barcelona their best ever start to a La Liga campaign.

This renaming is termed to be a mark of respect to Tito, who was a loyal servant to the club during his days as coach of La Masia. The date of formal renaming ceremony hasn't been announced yet.
