Borussia Monchengladbach 0-0 Bayern Munich Match Report

Line-up:

Borussia Monchengladbach: Yann Sommer; Julian Korb, Martin Stranzl, Álvaro Domínguez, Oscar Wendt; André Hahn (Fabian Johnson 81') , Christoph Kramer, Granit Xhaka, Patrick Herrmann (Ibrahima Traoré 81'); Raffael (Thorgan Hazard 90'), Max Kruse.

Bayern Munich: Manuel Neuer; Rafinha (Franck Ribery 66'), Mehdi Benatia, Dante, David Alaba; Philipp Lahm, Xabi Alonso, Juan Bernat; Thomas Müller (Claudio Pizarro 74'), Mario Götze (Xherdan Shaqiri 84') ; Robert Lewandowski.

Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayern Munich both hold onto their unbeaten runs as they played an entertaining goalless draw in Gladbach.

Bayern as usual dominated the proceedings as they pushed the hosts on the back foot from the word go. Gladbach decided to play on the counter as they had pace and guile to catch Bayern napping in defense. And they did so on quite a few times.

No teams had clear cut chances but Gladbach got one real opportunity to get into the lead but were denied by Manuel Neuer. It was end to end stuff yet no side managed to breach each other’s post.
