England 3-1 Slovenia Match Report


England starting XI (4-4-2): Hart; Clyne, Jagielka, Cahill, Gibbs; Lallana, Wilshere, Henderson, Sterling; Rooney, Welbeck.

Slovenia starting XI (4-4-1-1): Handanovic; Brecko, Cesar, Ilic, Struna; Kurtic, Mertelj, Birsa, Kirm; Kampl; Novakovic.



England gets past Slovenia in Wembley as Danny Welbeck’s brace seals the deal for Three Lions maintaining their top of the group status in Euro qualifiers.

Adam Lallana played an intregal part in England’s second goal while Kieran Gibbs and Raheem Sterling beautifully linked up to Welbeck’s second. Roy Hodgson’s boys are unbeaten in their Euro qualifiers this term.




England sits top of the group with 12 points.
