The Dutch international who's making his come back from an ACL injury is an important part of the AS Roma side as their owner has hinted, even a £75m bid for Strootman won't be entertained.
Strootman who moved from PSV to Roma in 2013, has appeared 29 times and scored 6 goals before going off injured which has left him eight months of the pitch and led to missing the Brazilian World Cup. Strootman who was major part of Garcia's first successful season at Roma has seen his stock just rise in the international market with his impressive performances in the Roma midfield. Manchester United and their former Dutch international manager where interested in signing Kevin this transfer window. But Strootman has established himself as firm fan favorite. He has become on of the identities of the club along side long serving players like Totti and Rossi.
Roma's owner has ruled out any sale of midfielder, as the club aims to make a team around the Holland midfielder.
Roma owner James Pallotta was quoted saying:
"It is just not happening," Roma's billionaire owner told BBC Sport at the Leaders in Football Conference.
"I have told the papers that they should stop wasting paper. We don't have any interest in selling Kevin."
"Obviously as business people when people call us and say 'we want your player' you are going to listen to them," Pallotta added.
"You have to do that, that is the business side. That doesn't mean you are going to make a ton of money'. Our goal across the board is stability."
