Vermaelen Move to Barcelona Confirmed

Out of favour Arsenal Captain Thomas Vermaelen has complted a £ 15 Million move to FC Barcelona. The Belgian defender has made a total of 150 appearances for Arsenal and scored 15 goals in the process.

Last season saw the 28 year old mostly on the bench making only 7 appearances for the English side. Barcelona see Carlos Puyol retire and look to to bolster up their defense with this move.
