Riyad Mahrez Leicester city star, has been voted the Algerian Player of the Year, beating Porto's Yacine Brahimi,with less than 1% to the award. A poll held by newspaper Al Haddaf, recieved votes from footballers and journalists around the Arab world leading the 24-year-old to win. The winger has been significant Leicester's rise to the top of the Premier League this season scoring 13 goals in 22 premiere league games.The Leicester city star, received the award from Mohamed Abou Trika, bagging 29.51 per cent of the vote, beating Yacine Brahimi who managed to bag 28.84%.
