Liverpool have signed Roberto Firmino

Liverpool have signed forward Roberto Firmino on a five-year deal from Hoffenheim for a fee of about £29m.

Firmino has featured in 33 of Hoffenheim's 34 league fixtures each season for the last three years. Firmino has been involved in 45 goals in his last 66 appearances in the Bundesliga.

Firmino is player who Likes to do layoffs while dribbling as well as a player who likes to cut inside. He makes good and accurate short passes as well provides his teammates with accurate through balls. He is also known to track back and make a decent defensive contribution however due to his fondness for physical plays, he commits fouls too often. He was also found outside on many occasions, However, addition of Firmino to Liverpool would be a great one as he has proven himself in the Bundesliga and he was a known asset of the German club.

Liverpool have been very active this transfer window as they have already added Burnley striker Danny Ings, defender Joe Gomez, goalkeeper Adam Bogdan, and midfielder James Milner this window.

Brazil and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho is certain that Selecao stars Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho to help Liverpool ensure a top four finish.

“For Liverpool to have Coutinho and Firmino is a big achievement for them” said Ronaldinho “It is going to give them one of the most exciting midfields in Europe.”

“The creativity, intelligence, and goals they have between them can change Liverpool as a team. It is a big sign of intent. To have a midfield with those two gives them a big chance to qualify for the Champions League next season.” He added.

“It is a dream for the Liverpool strikers to have that sort of service. If you can't score goals in a team with Coutinho and Firmino in midfield then you won’t score goals in any team. They will create so many chances.” He further said.
