The Uruguayan has been banned for 4 months from engaging in any form of competitive football, during which period he is not allowed to even practice with his peers. The ban translates to roughly 10 League matches. Considering Liverpool will be title contenders it would be 10 matches they cannot gamble upon.
3. Liverpool needs reinforcements to their line-up:
As mentioned earlier, Liverpool will be competing for 4 trophies which beg for more depth in the squad and better players who are match ready. Their fallacies in certain areas of the pitch are apparent and needs a complete revamp in terms of new players.
