The second half was all about City’s fighting spirit as they tried to claw their way back into the game. And they nearly did so as Sergio Aguero scored one in the 69th minute. It was all City at this point of time. Gael Clichy’s red card pegged the Citizens further back as they gave Barca a man advantage.


The Catalans again came back and almost killed the tie in the first leg itself had Leo Messi converted two of the glorious opportunities that he had. Messi missed a sitter before Joe Hart saved his penalty in the last minute. Joe Hart’s heroics are the only thing that’s keeping City in the tie come second leg.
