Monaco wanted Falcao back?

Monaco have stated that they wanted Colombian forward Ramadel Falcao back in January. The 29 year old who picked up a muscle injury was all set to return back to French side Monaco before failing to match his assessment criteria.

“He came to us, he was assessed by our doctors. Unfortunately, he was injured. We took the decision, it is better that he remains at Chelsea.” - Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev
