PSG to sign Angel Di Maria

As per speculations Angel Di Maria is being chased by French Champions PSG, who are reportedly willing to pay 43 million pounds for the player.

Di Maria joined United from Real Madrid last year for a fee worth a staggering £59.7million but, he has struggled to match the expectations as well as his performances cost him his place in the squad.

The Argentine had earlier said that he is keen on performing for United and would take the necessary steps to ensure that, however, Di Maria is now keen on joining the French Champions as he would be considered as a home grown player thus making it easier for him to play in the Champions League directly. A move to Paris would ensure that he would be a part of the club’s eight-man quota for the Champions League squad.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has confirmed his club's interest in the ex-Benfica man. PSG are reportedly willing to match the Winger's 200,000 pounds a week contract as well as ensure that he gets a place in the playing XI. United however, have not yet agreed to the deal as they value the argentine at £50m compared to PSG's hopes for a £40m. The 20 time Premier League Champions are looking for an attacker and PSG's Edinson Cavani has been on their radar. The Red Devils would be willing to go for a straight swap deal involving want away winger Angel Di Maria and Uruguyan Edinson Cavani.
