Loyal Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp states that he was given the opportunity to coach Manchester Uniter however, he did no wish to leave to his then current side Borussia Dortmund.

"There was a time [when United were interested] but I could not leave Dortmund. That is it. You are in April and you are in the middle of planning for the next season. Of course I was loyal to Dortmund. It was the same at Mainz."
